Description

Based on a TRUE story: When the unseen collides with the world of the living, the girl with no name awakens to a gift that changes everything. In her twenties, she discovers the ability to tap into her sixth sense — a gift that becomes her most cherished possession. Through it, she reconnects with her brother Gregory she tragically lost. He is more than a guiding presence; he is a messenger, leading souls into her care. Together, they become conduits for spirits longing to give a message to the loved ones they left behind.

At the heart of her journey is a long‑buried mystery — a death wrapped in secrecy. Was it murder or misfortune? As clues surface, one chilling phrase echoes through the pages: Who said FOUND DEAD? And another question rises again and again, whispered by the spirits themselves: Who’s picking me up? Its meaning remains elusive until the dead reveal the truth in their own time.

Years later, the girl makes a life‑altering choice: she moves into a dilapidated 1800s Victorian with her consort, an Old‑World builder with an artisan’s soul. What begins as a simple house flip becomes something far more profound. Beneath the peeling paint and forgotten history is a hidden portal — a passage woven into the very bones of the house, connecting this world to the OTHERSIDE. Spirits slip through and gather in the home’s old speakeasy bar, sharing their stories, their warnings, and their wisdom with the girl who plays the role of the barkeep.

The voices that step forward are anything but silent. From the ghost of the tycoon Leander Stone to beloved PETS, their messages span decades of emotion, mystery, and revelation. {{chills}} Your loved ones are standing by.

Gripping and enjoyable from page 1 A fascinating look into the afterlife and this life. The Dead Man Drinks had me laughing, crying and turning the pages so quickly as to get to the next, easy to read story. I'm blown away at how well written this book is ... I loved certain chapters so much that I reread them. It made me feel both happy and reflective at the same time. Leander was very important to the book so I wanted to sit and absorb what he had to say throughout as it felt very meaningful. Don't skip this one! Read more

The Dead Man Drinks is PHENOMENAL!!! MAGNIFICENT! I'd wake up very early, like 5am, to drive and park my car with the sunrise just to read 10 episodes! I'd come back home and read 10 more! I was a reading fool and this material was so easy to consume. I am not one of those that will read 20, 50, 100 books a year. I read one book every few years sad to say and it might take me several months to finish a book. After I purchased The Dead Man Drinks it sat on my shelf for several months. I would see it every time I walked by thinking 'I'll read it eventually'. Eventually arrived and once I began reading it was difficult to stop. I read it cover to cover within a week. I want more! The spirits have distinct personalities that carried over to the afterlife. What character they had when among the living remained when they crossed over. The wisdom they bestow is invaluable. SO MUCH wisdom! This was an amazingly easy read simplified by the eighty 3-minutes episodes. I am grateful to IRONHORSE and the girl with no name for sharing many answers to questions we have all asked ourselves either privately or publicly. Ironhorse! And the girl! I hope another book is coming!!! Read more

The dead man drinks What a great fun read! It’s a book you can and will need to read again because surely you will miss a clue or two the first time around. I read on average 100 books a year and this is right at the top. It doesn’t matter what genre of books you are into it’s a fun read for anyone. It’s also exciting to know I went to school with the writer. Can’t wait to visit the real Victorian soon. Read more

The Dead Man Drinks Wow, "The girl with no name" is an amazing author. She captivates the reader and had me on the edge of my seat as she is telling the stories of all the people who have contacted her. I felt like HH ready to blurt out "tell me more". Or Wow "this girl is brave"! I would be hiding under the bed and want a tour of the house. I feel as though with God's infinite intelligence he is telling the girl to keep writing. Boy does she have talent. I can not wait for the next book. Read more

READ THIS BOOK! The book describes 80 paranormal experiences of the author identified as “The Girl With No Name.” She is a conduit to the other side and receives communications with spirits there. Each experience was narrated in a very concise manner. Overall, I found the book not only to be interesting but filled with optimism for a consciousness and life after death. I would recommend the book to anyone interested in exploring the other side through events very well-described by The Girl’s narration. Who knows? JE Read more

The Dead Man Drinks What a great account of rooms in a house linked to actual past and present experiences. It is a real page turner, but wait, save some for tomorrow. You don't have to believe in spirits to enjoy this book, but you might after you read it. Tell your friends and relatives to buy this book and get together to discuss it over a glass or two of wine. Maybe a spirit or two will join you. Glenn Read more
