About the author
Arielle Fox is a first-grade teacher in Brooklyn, NY. Her huge passion for reading picture books to her students is what inspired her to start creating her very own books! She is the author and illustrator of the fun, meaningful, and hilarious Shteinmekel Tales Series. "The Day The Perfect Went Away" is her first book outside of the series. She hopes that all of her books will inspire young readers to embrace diversity, tolerance, kindness, the arts, nature, and self-love through both the magic of imagination and the power of human emotion and connection. All of Arielle's books are illustrated in pen and watercolor paint. She loves painting pictures for her family and friends as well.
