About the author

Idalita Wright Raso is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She is an established news reporter, photojournalist, and author. She has worked for the Lake County Gazette in Jefferson, Ohio and has written a four book vampire horror series entitled," Eye of Saturn." The Daughters of Saturn Book One is Idalita's debut novel.

Overview

Felipe de Hayos,the son of a wealthy statesman is forced by his parents to marry a mysterious Moorish woman named, Lilith Al-Salameh. But Lilith is hiding a dark secret. She is actually Saturn's Immortal High Priestess and has plans to transform Felipe into an immortal, like herself. However, Lilith's plans are dashed when a family friend and her daughter, Zaybeth Castile come to live at the de Hayos estate. It is love at first sight for Felipe and Zaybeth. Learning of her husband's betrayal, Lilith plots the lover's destruction. She calls upon the Daughters of Saturn to aid her in performing a forbidden ritual, opening the Eye of Saturn, cursing Felipe into a vampire and Zaybeth into the only one who can kill him.

Description

Have you ever had a dream that led you to a remarkable world filled with colorful characters that seemed so real, so vivid, you didn't want to wake? Well, I had such a dream. In 2005 three, angelic-looking, women came to me in a dream and presented me with three unique gifts, one of which was this story.

Going back five-hundred fifty years, the main characters of this tale appeared in my dreams over a two-year period, each telling me horrific, detailed accounts of the supernatural events that took place in their lives.

The book series is based on my dreams and a raging storm that took place on the planet Saturn on November 9, 2006 that resembled a human eye. My vampire book series goes back to the classic Gothic vampire and puts a spin on it. I threw out the vampire rule book and centered the story on an ancient, bloodthirsty religion instead. I developed a unique vision of the vampire mythology by integrating it with Saturn worship and a raging storm that actually took place on the planet Saturn.
