Overview
There was a tingling in the right side of the tongue. Who would have thought that was the beginning of a personal journey of trauma? The journey would be an unwelcomed one not of my own choosing. I would end up surveying the depths of suffering, as well as fear. I would be forced to face unresolved buried life issues and the radical changes needed, all because of the suffering-fear generated by the radiation mask. The mask exposed those inner traumas . Can past fearful traumas be overcome? The author concludes a resounding, “YES THEY CAN,” with the crucifixion of the mask!
Description
The Crucifixion of the Mask is a personal journey of one person’s experience with the depth of fear. It began with a tingling sensation in the right side of the tongue. It would progress to hearing the word cancer, followed by the possibility that I would never preach again. With surgery and radiation came the growing over-powering of fear, culminating in the help unto freedom, and preaching again. The Crucifixion is a journey. The reader will journey right along with the author through his personal journey, and then will complete their own personal journal entry at the end of each chapter. The reader will journal their own personal traumatic encounter that surfaces from the reading of the chapter. The Crucifixion of the Mask is about unmasking critical issues in one’s life, facing the demons and overcoming them. Conquering is a reality! Come and discern that reality unto your own personal freedom.
