Description
Lily Cromwell already knows the best way to prevent a life of tears and unnecessary heartache: be the player. She's cool. Calm. Collected. At 27, she's a successful New York City socialite and a software engineer on the brink of a major promotion. Trained by her mother's ten-commandment "Cromwell Rules," Lily has learned how to play the social game so that she always ends up on top. But when she meets Logan, she's thrown off. He doesn't even realize there are certain rules he should follow and, frankly, that's attractive. Nicholas, on the other hand, is just what her mother Anne would want. Can Lily be the daughter Anne's always wanted her to be and have the type of husband she was taught to stay away from? Will Lily be brave enough to rewrite the Rules?

Compelling, romantic, and emotional read! I am absolutely blown away by Ania Ray’s deep understanding of character emotion. From start-to-finish, this is a wild, compelling ride through the life of Lily Cromwell: the girl everyone wants to be. She has it all figured out, or at least she thinks she does. When a missed bus and a runaway hat collide her with Logan, her feelings towards him begin to clash with the strict rules she was raised to abide by. The constant battle between Lily’s heart and mind pulled me straight through the story. Compelling, emotional, romantic, with just a hint of comedy–I finished it in two sittings. This is one of those books that makes me desperately wish I could go back and read it again for the first time. Highly recommend The Cromwell Rules for an all-around phenomenal read! Read more
