Jean Robert Romulus was born March 1, 1948, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He graduated from medical school at the University of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, faculty of medicine, on August 8, 1974. He married his wife, Micheline, on August 19, 1976. This union produced a daughter, Lina Romulus. Jean entered the United States in October 1976 and became a citizen in 1978. Jean Robert spent three years in residency in a pediatrics department. In December 1980, he was licensed to practice medicine.
In 1984 Jean joined the United States Army Reserves and was appointed the rank of captain. In 2002 Jean retired from the army following a bilateral visual impairment and subsequently received an honorable discharge from the rank of major.
Jean Robert began practicing medicine on January 1, 1985, up until now at Excelsior Medical Group (1428 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11210). In 2009 Jean was called by the Lord into ministry. On May 7, 2007, Jean received the credential from The World Harvest Bible College to minister the Word, the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. On March 21, 2007, he received a Doctor of Divinity degree from The University of the Prophets at Full Gospel Tabernacle in Massapequa, Long Island, New York.
