About the author
Elizabeth Monroy is the Director and Creator of The Florence
International Film School located in Florence Italy. This is a Film
School where students from all parts of the world come to learn how to
write, direct and produce films. Elizabeth began the school out of her
love for story telling, her desire to help people tap into their
creative spirit and to tell their own stories.
An accomplished author of two other books in print- The Magical
Mist a children’s book focusing on fanning the creative sparkle of
children and The Pathway Home, which she wrote with her husband Peter
Monroy, a physician, about physical, emotional, mental and spiritual
wholeness. Elizabeth has also written many screenplays and is the
director of Infinite Human Productions and Infinite Human
Publications, a company whose mission is to produce creative works
that inspire the infinite possibilities of the human spirit.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts, English and
History and a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. She has
studied screenplay writing and film making at the University of
California in Los Angeles and Cinema and Art at the University of
Florence.
Elizabeth has lived all over the world with her husband Peter
Monroy and spent much time living on the beaches of Florida,
California, South Carolina, Hawaii, Guam, Spain and the Caribbean
where she researched and wrote The Chronicles of MerWorld the first of
the enchanting underwater trilogy. Elizabeth is also an accomplished
Artist Painter and Sculpture. She has had he work exhibited in
Florida, Spain, Guam, Hawaii and Panama.
