The Cancer Diaries

The Cancer Diaries is a collection of 9 stories provided by brave individuals that have unique relationships with Cancer and Multiple Sclerosis. Collectively our hope is that sharing these stories will inspire people to start living now by honoring time and the people that fill their lives.

Cancer +1, the Cancer Diaries features the stories of 9 individuals whose lives have been forever changed by Cancer and Multiple Sclerosis. In sharing our stories as survivors, fighters and caregivers, we hope to educate readers about life with Cancer and Multiple Sclerosis, while uplifting those who have been effected by these diseases in one way or another.

Bernice Nelson is a fiery business woman whose life changed the day her fiancé and father to her only son was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. As a result of his diagnosis Bernice's life was turned upside down, and she had to immerse herself into the world of cancer to support her family. This collection shows the great lengths that Bernice is willing to go in order for the world of cancer and chronic illness to be changed forever, despite some of the harsh realities that she has had to face.
