About the author
A native of Camden, New Jersey, this seasoned musician has
garnered a reputation for writing and producing warm, heartfelt, and infectious songs that engage the heart. He coins his
style of music as soulful, and credits the favor of God and hard
work with affording him national and international notoriety
in the music business. Gary's musical gift has allowed him to
work with a range of noteworthy talents like Bishop David G.
Evans, former President Bill Clinton, the National Basketball
Association's (NBA) Allen Iverson, the late Edwin Hawkins,
Lonnie Hunter, Earnest Pugh, Micah Stampley, and others.
Gary started his early teenage years as a church organist at Emmanuel United Pentecostal Church in Camden, New
Jersey, which his parents, the late Bishop Sherman Sr. and
Mother Dorothy Diggs, founded in 1968. He has traveled the
world and has written and produced songs that have scored
both Billboard's Gospel Top Charts and Stellar Nominations.
Gary is the owner of several life-impacting ministries:
D'Garia Music Group, Called To Refresh, Cover Me Summit (an
event to empower, challenge, produce, and financially support
students as they return to school in September), L'NIS (Life
