A Memoir that was born out of a desire to know more about my Father's and my Father In Law's lives. They led extraordinary lives but never wrote about them or talked about them and when they passed away their stories were gone forever. This book is a collection of stories, from my life, that tell about my failures, shortcomings and embarrassing moments but also about my perseverance through these times and my successes and it gives credit to all of the wonderful people God placed in my life. After a life of diligent observation of people and things around me, I give a perspective on what is important.

About The Author

Lon Brown is just a regular guy who has been blessed with many opportunities. His desire to succeed and his competitive spirit have helped him make the most of these opportunities while not losing sight of the importance of having fun and making memories along the way. Lon grew up in the Midwestern town of Alexandria, Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with minors in Economics and Sociology. He has been a licensed Real Estate Broker for over forty five years and has been in the insurance agency business since 1983. Since that time his insurance agency has grown 4000%, from $244,000 in premium volume in 1983 to over $10,000,000 in premium volume, and has been listed in the '25 Largest Insurance Agencies in the Indianapolis Area" by the Indianapolis Business Journal. Lon is first to acknowledge this could only have been possible with the help of all the wonderful people that God has placed in his life.
