About the author
Miss Frankie Tease is the Granddaughter of a flapper, and a swing dancer from Hollywood to San Francisco, to Portland Oregon since 1995. She saw her first U.S.O. show in San Francisco and her first tease and tassel videos at the Deluxe' on Haight St in 1998. and was hooked on the genre that seeks to bring mid-century American style to life. Originally from Long Beach, CA, Miss Frankie Tease didn't discover performing strip-tease until relocating in 2003 to Portland, Oregon. She honed her craft, and in 2007 she began performing strip-tease and fleshy acrobatics in burlesque shows progressing in 2008 to producing her own weekly and monthly burlesque shows.
Her stage trademark is the element of surprise combined with daring acrobatics, and a pleasant 'sing-song matter-of-fact' sultry tone of voice that could say anything. Frankie's background in Entertainment includes: Pageant, Ballroom and Burlesque Choreography, Event M.C and Hosting, Burlesque and Art Modeling, and Strip-Tease instruction. Frankie has performed: Studio Vocals, percussion, Radio, TV, and Stage. Frankie wrote a How To Burlesque column on the Candy Pitch by Kelly Dinardo ('09), a Portland Burlesque column and National Burlesque column for Examiner.com ('11), began Frankie Tease Magazine (online '11), and wrote for Vegas Seven Magazine ('12).

How it all got started...
Frankie's pin-up, burlesque and model hero is Betty Page, unequivocally. Without discovering Betty Page through the swing/rockabilly scene, there may be no Miss Frankie Tease. Comedically Frankie's inspirations are Katt Williams, Lucille Ball, Melanie Comarcho, Susanna Lee aka Lucky Deluxe, Conan O'Brien, Shakespeare specialist: English Professor Mrs. Dr. Geare of Pasadena City College, Robin Williams, Betty White, and Elvira.
