About the author


Melissa Davis is former attorney and educator who was one of twelve graduate level students in the inaugural class of the world's first master's degree program on the musical and cultural impact of the Beatles. Davis graduated with Honors in 2011; her dissertation focused on the US reception of the group in February 1964. With Michael Brocken, she authored the most comprehensive annotated bibliography of writings about the Beatles (2012) and its 2013 supplement. Currently, Melissa is completing the new edition of the annotated bibliography, scheduled for publication in mid-2024.
