A southern town in the post world war one era is dealing with a mystery assault against its black residents. An unlikely hero must now return home to challenge the powers that be and battle his own personal conflicts.

James Platt has seen it all in life. From the urban streets of Harlem to witnessing the violent horrors of World War 1,he is a survivor. Then one day his sister Jessica writes him a letter that changes his life forever.
