The latest, and possibly last, book of poetry from St. Louis-based author, Denmark Laine. An example of the "psychedelic realism" school of writing; a literary subculture that's slowly been gaining popularity in the Midwest since the early 2000s.

Denmark Laine is a St. Louis poet, novelist and music critic whose work has been featured on Fox 2 KTVI, Subprimal Poetry, STL TV Live, the St. Louis Poetry Slam, Eleven Magazine, Bad Jacket, KC Journal Review, Book of Matches and Spartan Press. He has a BFA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is the author of Exile On Cherokee Street, Thorazine Ice Cream Parlor, The Gods of Autumn, The Absinthe Fountain and Smalltown Kings.
