Description


Zeeba is an American cat born on a Nebraska farm. The farmer meets a Persian man, Bahram, who is looking for two baby kittens for his daughter, Taraneh. The Persian family goes out to the farm and chooses Zeeba and her sister, Peeshi. The two kittens learn a new way of life, begin speaking the Farsi language, and lounge on colorful Persian carpets. She also lives all the usual perils of a cat's life and experiences love and loss. Through every lesson and trial, Zeeba remains smart, obedient, and resilient.

About The Author


Judith Wilson Shadzi is a published author, award-winning artist, and businesswoman. She received a bachelor's degree in Consumer Economics and a minor in Iranian Studies from the University of Minnesota. Judith went on to get a teaching credential and Master of Education degree at National University. She lived with her family in Iran for five years.
