About The Author

Karie was introduced into the Alzheimer's world when her mother-in-law was diagnosed and moved into their home. Karie soon became the full-time caregiver in a world foreign to their family. Depending on God was the only way she was able to navigate her new role as a caretaker and make it through this journey. With no caregiving devotional to turn to throughout that time, she created one to help others have an easier experience, incorporating some of the same Bible verses which pulled her through those times. Following this journey, Karie went onto become a Daisy Award winning nurse for over seven years and counting. At the conclusion of year two and after much prayer by she and her hubs, they decided to set out and go wherever God needed them. To this day, they continue to travel to communities across the country helping patients and churches whom God places in their path.
