The Alternative Gourmet is an organic, allergy-free, doctor recommended 196 page full color cookbook for people with food allergies or limitations. It is a nut-free, wheat-free, egg-free, dairy-free, pepper-free cookbook. It comes complete with Breakfast, Lunch, Soups and Salads, Hors D'oeuvres, Dinner, Vegetable, Dessert, Drinks and Extra's sections.
Aliza wrote The Alternative Gourmet as a tribute to her daughter Sabine in hopes of helping others deal with their food allergies.
The My Symptoms section of the book gives a glimpse of Aliza's reactions to certain foods and elements. She added this section to give the reader help in figuring out the triggers to their issues, as everyone is different. Aliza's motto is "Whatever you put in on or around your body can and will effect you, so be mindful".
The My Process To Healing section is the road to which Aliza took for her own healing to begin and it worked. She included this as a guide for others to use, as it may differ from what works best for their own unique healing method.
The Alternatives Section was added, as everyone is different and one person may be able to ingest something that another person cannot. This section allows the reader to substitute certain foods to fit their personal dietary needs.
The Alternative Gourmet Cookbook is a guide for those with food-allergies to be creative and fearless in their culinary world despite their dietary limitations.
