The Adventures of Kid America: The Great Puppy Rescue is the first book of a series of stories that follows an All-American boy, Kid America, and his friends on adventures throughout the United States and around the world solving mysteries and thwarting plans of their nemesis, Casper. The characters each possess certain American characteristics, values, and traits that they have inherited from there diverse backgrounds. Each adventure takes this diverse group of friends on a journey where they must overcome obstacles through courage, team work, innovation and problem solving while foiling Casper’s plans.
About the author
Jason Holder currently lives in Madison, Alabama with his wife and his two sons. He grew up in Marietta, Georgia with his two younger sisters, Catherine and Elizabeth, in a middle class family and attended Walton High School where he excelled in both academics and athletics. After high school he passed on several athletic scholarships and decided to attend Georgia Tech in the fall of 1996. While at Georgia Tech he began writing short stories and children’s books as a hobby. When he graduated in 2001 with a bachelors degree in engineering he began working in the the defense industry but always had a passion for creative writing, telling stories and developing storylines. When he became a father he decided to pursue his passion of writing and developed a new children’s brand focused on American traits, ideals, ethics, and values. The Kid America brand was born. It is his passion to ensure his boys along with the rest of the next generation of young boys and girls have positive role models and influences.
