Judy Reach LaRocca presently lives near Jacksonville in Saint Johns, Florida with her husband Bob, who gives her his support, love and encouragement. Writing brings her joy and she loves sharing her stories, especially with her three grown children and six grandchildren.
Her writings include her life stories told with warmth and humor, short stories, and fairy tales with a twist. Judy has also written both poems and prose some of which she has added to her books.
This latest fairy tale book, The Adventures of Benji, Pansy, and Herzhog, is filled with mystical magical creatures. You will read about The Mystery of Zhog and also Fizzle BoomDiggle and Harry HobGob who join in for fun, fantastic adventures.
Her series of books Reaching for Life began with her first published book Judy's Story of Waycross about her early childhood in a small South Georgia town during the 1940's. Her next book, Decatur Stories in the 1950's with Judy is filled with both fun and charming tales of her teen years in North Georgia with her large Reach family, to be published soon. Each chapter is a short story in itself with dialogue and humor all based on her actual life. Like most Southerners, she adds a pinch of salt to the grits for flavor.
Remember: "A touch of humor along the path of life makes the journey easier."
