"The Adventures of Barnaby Bookworm II, The Treasure of the Golden Clipper," is the next chapter in the life of Barnaby and his friends Lewis, and Bonnie. Barnaby discovers the magic in his new glasses as he and his friends go to the special Adventure section of the Centerville Library. There they begin an adventure that includes traveling into a world of pirates, a pirate ship, a princess and her castle! It's the beginning of many adventures in store for the Bookworm friends!

Anthony Peter Fotia is an artist who wrote and Illustrated this children's book. Having founded APF Graphics, Inc. in 1970, Tony was the president, sales and design force directing the New York firm for 25 years. In retirement, Tony decided to write a story that he had been thinking about since working on ads for Waldenbooks back in the 70s and 80s. He was asked to design a character much like Barnaby for signage in their Children's section at Waldenbook Stores and it was used for several years. The character of a Bookworm stirred his imagination and he kept the idea of a Bookworm born in a library in the back of his mind until recently. He hopes that children will find this story exciting and an opportunity to enhance their reading and library experiences!
