The book does not rely on a special set words approved for children, but expects that there are many children who appreciate the reading challenge of an occasional hard word.

The author is retired product engineer/tax man with a master's degree in English and a love of writing whether it be adult fiction or books for children, including the illustrations. I also love writing poetry with a little "zing" at the end that makes people say, "Now why didn't I think of that?"
