From Abram to Abraham, From Jehovah to Jesus

Overview
The Abraham Allegory shows that when God changed Abram's name to Abraham, it was really a deeper picture of God changing His own Old Covenant name , Jehovah, to the New Covenant name of Jesus. God tells us in Galatians that Sarah is a picture of the New Covenant. She is also a picture of the New Jerusalem which is The Church which is the Bride of Christ. This name change is also how Jesus defeated the Devil. Don't you remember that famous portion of the Bible in Isaiah that says of Jesus "and He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace?" Now it all makes sense. Jesus is the Great I AM, God manifest in the flesh.
Description
The Bible says that God has written a mystery! Now if a human had written a mystery we would expect him to keep us in suspense with plot twists and an invincible arch-villain, but we think that God just writes nice stories about nice people. However, as C.S. Lewis implied, He’s a good God, but He's not a tame God. Since nobody tells us there is a mystery, we don't look for it and even doctors of theology don't see it as God waves it right in front of our noses and since we aren’t aware of it, we don’t notice the clues. The Abraham Allegory shows that when God changed Abram's name to Abraham, it was really a deeper picture of God changing His own Old Covenant name, Jehovah, to the New Covenant name of Jesus. God tells us that Sarah is a picture of the church, the Bride of Christ and together with Abraham and Hagar we can deduce that God has changed His name just has He said He would in Isaiah. This name change is also how Jesus defeated the Devil. Don't you remember that famous portion of the Bible in Isaiah that says of Jesus, "and He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace?" Surely you remember when Jesus said, "if you've seen me, you've seen the Father." Aha! Now it all makes sense! Jesus is the great "I AM", God manifest in the flesh. When I tell people about this, they often say, "I always had a uneasy feeling that there was something wrong or missing." This is why the Trinity theology cannot ever be explained even though God says that the godhead, the biggest mystery in the Bible, can be understood. God says that He won't do anything without telling His servants, the prophets. These men of whom the world was not worthy, wrote every word about Jesus. It is no wonder now that two thousand years later, the great author of our salvation has the world still largely in a daze, even though He flaunts the evidence before us. Bravo, Jesus! Bravo!
