Description

It was instant recognition the moment their eyes met. They stared at each other in horror as the memory of that night flashed through their minds. This chance meeting would set into motion a deadly chain of uncontrollable events. They must find him to stop the truth coming out and he needs to find and identify them so that justice can be done. The hunter and the hunted would soon start the search for each other. Our story starts in London when Julian recognises the Nazi couple he saw murdering a family sixty years ago. Frans and Kara were fleeing the advancing Russian army with their horde of diamonds swindled from desperate Jews who were interned at Theresienstadt Concentration Camp. Unable to contain their fear of being discovered, Kara immediately calls on their Nazi friends in Buenos Aires and Germany as well as their terrorist connections to help find and silence Julian. Julian is traumatised with fear of being found. They had tried to kill him then and he was sure they would try again now. He calls on his best friend Max to help him find a solution and soon Mossad agents join the search for the Nazi’s. Julian’s team devise the scam of the century to slowly suck the siblings and their associates into a trap. This compelling tale follows six year old Dov Levitan, now called Julian by his adoptive parents, from the outskirts of Prague to London where he completes his schooling and establishes a successful business. This exciting thriller will take the reader from the Second World War into modern day Europe as the two sides hunt for each other with danger lurking at every corner.

About the author

This is Morris Maram’s debut novel. Morris is a businessman who lives in South Africa. For many years his family have been encouraging him to write a novel. The urge to do so came while on holiday in Thailand. He started to write Ten Thirty in Berlin on his IPhone while sitting on Phuket beach. Each day he would email back his writings to his laptop in the hotel room, remove the additional words the IPhone added and then email it back to his phone. He wrote the exciting 360 page Ten Thirty In Berlin this way.
