This is Morris Maram’s debut novel. Morris is a businessman who lives in South Africa. For many years his family have been encouraging him to write a novel. The urge to do so came while on holiday in Thailand. He started to write Ten Thirty in Berlin on his IPhone while sitting on Phuket beach. Each day he would email back his writings to his laptop in the hotel room, remove the additional words the IPhone added and then email it back to his phone.
