She is most passionate about financial literacy and an advocate and supporter of financial education-to say the least. MJ has experienced both poverty and middle class living which gives her a unique insight when it comes to teaching, reaching and relating to people about personal finances. MJ has more than 15 years of experience and knowledge in the Financial Services industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is proud to be a Delawarean and has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. As a result of her upbringing and education, she owns a Financial Consulting agency located in Wilmington, Delaware. This is where she does individual credit counseling, training, writing, and workshops. MJ is a volunteer for the Delaware Money Management Program – an agency that helps the elderly and disabled to pay their bills. MJ is happily single and has two wonderful nieces, a sister, a mother and a host of other extended family and friends who loves her dearly.
