Description

These stories are an attempt to express and give voice to those in our society who are not heard or understood: young people struggling, criminals on the prowl, and educators trying to teach and run the schools. It is a book of pictures and images, only in words. For all of the readers and writers out there in the world, I don't see many in our schools. Some stories slip into fantasy, but just for a moment. The author wrote these stories for fun, so the reading should be fun as well.

About The Author

Joshua D. Reaser graduated from Stetson University in 2004. That same year he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He served two tours in Okinawa and one in Iraq between 2004-2008. He then separated from the Marines and moved to the Bronx, where he became a teacher for the Department of Education. He still lives and teaches in the Bronx. He writes for fun and pleasure and sometimes for his creative writing students. He believes that reading and writing should be fun, and does everything in his power to steer educational policy away from what he believes to be the foolishness of standardized testing.
