About the author
Tracey Farley-Artis is a music industry executive who has promoted some of the biggest names in the gospel music industry for decades. Her faith-based company, I Hear Music, Inc. has represented gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Mary Mary, Tamela Mann, Charles Jenkins, Andrae Crouch, The Clark Sisters, Byron Cage, Bishop Marvin Sapp, Bishop Bobby Hilton, Pastor Marvin Winans, J Moss, Joshua Rogers, E. Dewey Smith, Dorinda Clark Cole, Tramaine Hawkins, Walter Hawkins, Tasha Cobbs- Leonard, Brian Courtney Wilson, Ricky Dillard, Evvie McKinney, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Hezekiah Walker and many more. Artis has worked with artists who have won Grammys, Stellar, and Dove Awards and has received Gold and Platinum records for her work. Artis is hard at work nationally and locally as a member of The Cincinnati, OH NAACP, The Recording Academy , The Cincinnati (OH) Chapter of The Links Inc., The African American Chamber of Commerce, and The American Heart Association. Tracey serves on various boards such as LHOI and The Princeton Alumni Association. Tracey also finds time to serve as the director of her non-profit organization, JazJordan, Inc. Her nonprofit organization spearheads a legacy event "The Black Family Reunion" in Cincinnati, Ohio. Artis is a devoted wife to Bobby Artis and the loving mother of two; Jazmyn and Jordan.
