Korin Peltier grew up immersed in a family dedicated to firefighting and public safety, a background that sparked her passion for serving others. In her 20s, she began her career as a 911 Fire/EMS Dispatcher, where she quickly recognized the critical need for mental health support amongst first responders. Driven by this insight, Korin helped create the Wellness K9 Program for her department, which offers mental health and wellness support to their first responders. As Cooper's dedicated handler, Korin is committed to expanding the program and enhancing the well-being of her colleagues through the invaluable companionship of K9s. Her vision is to continually grow the Wellness K9 Program, aiming to make a lasting impact on the mental health of first responders.
