Don Hirsch lives south of Boston, MA with his wife, two sons and dog Kobie. He always had in interest in collecting quotes, and enjoyed how a complex thought or feeling could be expressed in just a few short words. When friends or family were going through a tough time, Don would write his quotes into a book and give them as a gift. The people who received them would always be surprised and grateful. He resisted publishing, since each book was a unique and singular gift written for one specific person. After collecting them for years, Don had a change of heart and decided that publishing them would enable him to share these thoughts with a wider audience. In the past two years of the pandemic, he felt that the timing was right, as we could all benefit from positive thoughts in these dark times.

Don lives south of Boston with his wife, two sons and their dog, Kobie. He has been collecting quotes for a number of years. He has always appreciated what a few well chosen words could do to help someone look at things in a different light. Several years ago he was talking to a friend who was going through a tough time. Don decided to share some of his quotes. He hand wrote them into a blank book with the hope that they would cheer up his friend. The friend was very appreciative and told Don that the book had provided a positive experience for them. Don did this again and again for friends and family over the years. Recently, Don decided to publish his collection in order to reach a wider audience. The book is called Sunny Thoughts for Cloudy Days. The goals of the book are to provide positive thoughts for people going through a tough time, to offer a different perspective on how to view things and put a smile on the reader's face.
