About the author
Born in England at the end of the Baby Boom and the beginning of rock ’n’ roll, Wilson Quick discovered that he could entertain his classmates at Ilkley’s All Saints Primary School in Yorkshire by writing tales of adventure and mayhem set amongst the heather and bracken of the North Country moors. After emigrating with his family first to Toronto and then to Michigan, Quick finished high school as feature editor for the school newspaper with a simple motto for life: When in doubt, write; when finished writing, write some more. Quick also wrote songs and recorded and performed in various bands and as a solo artist, always with an eye on his notebooks. That love of writing and music resulted in his novel Strawberry Fields For Evan. There are many more stories to tell and many more to come.
