WILLIAM CLEVELAND is a pioneer in the community arts movement and one of its most poetic documenters. His books Art In Other Places, Making ExactChange, and Art and Upheaval are considered seminal works in the field of arts-based community development. Active as a musician and filmmaker, he also directs the Center for the Study of Art & Community, and hosts the podcast Change the Story / Change the World.
