Description

A story about balloons. A story about a kookaburra. A story about fishing. And a story about a trumpet. At least that's how my nearly three-year old son knows them by. Behind the balloons, kookaburra, fishing, and trumpet, are messages of hope and inspiration, reflection and motivation. I sincerely hope you enjoy them!

Great lessons and writing! And so enjoyed meeting him at a reading of his book in my area. Love how he reads the stories with emotion and voices! Such a nice person as well as an imaginative writer. “Slow Down” and enjoy true life I grew up in the 50’s and our neighbors were immigrants from Italy. I remember the many stories told by “Uncle Lou.” Angelo’s book caused me to remember the past, evaluate life’s simple priorities and slow down! Thank you Read more

Refreshing I had no idea what to expect when reading Angelo's first published book. I have great respect for him as a person and sports writer, but as an author, it was new territory. I was definitely not disappointed. Angelo offered four short readings that were extremely creative, but also focused on very important simple and positive principles. In today's world where there is a lot of junk that can grab our attention, this was a welcomed and refreshing read that took me to a lighthearted and cheerful place. Great job, Angelo. Read more

Thought provoking read Four short stories conveying thought provoking messages that stand the test of time. Whether that be empathy for other peoples unknown struggles, wish for more than you need or wasting your potential and letting life pass you by... Personally, “The King’s Trumpet” was my favorite of the four. Why put off what can be done today when the 'Trumpet' could sound at any moment. Life lessons to spend your time wisely...and with the people you love. Read more
