About the author

Bruce A. Morey was born and raised on a farm in rural upstate New York—far from silver spoon status. Despite the fact that his parents ensured he never went without, he knew even from a young age that he shouldn't expect what he wanted to be handed to him. Financial responsibility was a priority from the start. After working for several farmers and buying his first car in high school, he enlisted in the military and spent nine years in the Army. After his stint in the military was over, he began working in an expansion factory in East Tennessee, working his way up to Facilities Manager while earning a business degree, becoming a Red Cross instructor and an EMT. His interest in the environmental, health and safety sides of manufacturing presented the opportunity to join a company that let him focus on that. He worked his way up to to Regional Manager, responsible for 15 facilities, and has been there for the last 17 years. In the meantime, he acquired several investment properties while running a music and video production studio. Knowing that success wasn't a given, he now takes the opportunity to share what he's learned.
