About the author
Alan Joseph was born in Monticello, New York. After graduating from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1979, he worked as a staff attorney for the Sullivan County Legal Aid Society, Inc., then as an assistant district attorney before climbing the ranks to become Chief Assistant District Attorney of Orange County, New York. For many years he prosecuted numerous high profile cases until leaving the DA's office in 1991 to enter private practice in Goshen, New York where he continues to practice today. When not at work, he loves to travel to Europe and other exotic places with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is an avid reader of suspense novels and enjoys discovering the history behind the many treasures found throughout the world. Besides traveling and enjoying time with his family, he enjoys scuba diving and exploring the ocean depths. "Stones of Fire" is his first novel.
