Once again life disappointed Shataye when her sister was killed in a murder suicide in 2005. Shataye Ferguson was born in Jacksonville Ga. She was raised by her grandparents after her mother was killed. Shataye developed a passion for reading and writing at an early age. There she discovered a world of imagination as a child she dreamed of becoming a best selling author but she never thought it was possible. After her sister was killed in a murder suicide she decided to write a memoir. Shataye hopes that her story will help others heal.
