About the author
Gilda Zelin was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Adelphi University with a BA in English and a Masters in Education. She and her husband retired to California, where she first started to write and paint. Her first book is a memoir, A Widow's Journey, published after her husband's death. Zelin began to write short stories for the "First Person Singular" program on a local radio station, and continues to write and illustrate her life experiences with sensitivity and humor in this wise and wonderful book. Gilda's life is filled with a medley of yoga, walking, painting, volunteering in community organizations, and writing … and she is still going!
