In this newly revised compilation of his writings, well-known spiritual writer and guide Tolbert McCarroll encourages us to approach each step, each moment, deliberately and thoughtfully.
In an era of intensified partisan divides, our ability to find common ground has been dissipating. Yet one remaining area of common ground is the need for periods of stillness, contemplation, and quiet reflection. These still moments, abundantly offered within "Stepping Stones", allow us to disconnect from the distractions of daily life and encounter a sense of unity and togetherness. Each of Brother Toby's "Stepping Stones" is a much-needed dose of inner nourishment for his readers, gentle folk on many different personal and spiritual paths. Since Brother Toby McCarroll first published "Stepping Stones: Daily Reflections by an Unconventional Monk", readers of every spiritual persuasion have discovered and rediscovered the rewards of this journey through a year of mindful observation, questioning, and hope. In this newly revised edition, you'll find the same insightful reflections, timeless guidance, and nature-focused spirituality that have made "Stepping Stones" a treasured companion. Whether you're revisiting or embarking on this soul-enriching journey for the first time, this new edition is a welcoming portal into the contemplative world of a fellow seeker.
