About the author
Donna Tillery is an Ivy League graduate of Columbia University, and a recipient of the Bristol Meyer Scholarship, specializing in pharmaceutical sciences, with 40 years of experience as a scientist in microbiology, biochemistry, and patients’ interventions. She was formerly employed by Vicks Research, a division of Merrell Dow (1976–1979). Dr. Tillery contributes numerous hours of community service, including lecturing, and producing, and hosting local cable TV shows. Dr. Donna Tillery earned two undergraduate degrees (Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences), completing her 6-year program in 4 years. She later received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Prior to this, she graduated from the elite Catholic school on a full tuition scholarship at Convent of Mercy, Alpha Academy, in Kingston, Jamaica. She was a top 10 finalist in two beauty pageants: Miss Jamaica and Miss Jamaica-New York.
Dr. Tillery also has over 40 years of experience in research, retail, and hospital pharmacies. Dr. Tillery is currently a Telepharmacist at Tillery-PharmEd in Miami. She embodies many scientific specialty areas such as Wellness Assessments, Prescriber Recommendations, Medication Therapy Management (500,000 interventions), Patient Counseling: Internal Medicine (Diabetes), Cardiology (Risk Factors for Heart Disease), and Oncology; speaker, TV host and producer, entrepreneur, and author. Her expertise has touched as many as 3 billion lives including many famous politicians and celebrities.
