About the author
Cam Birtwell is a professional Strength and Conditioning Coach with over 13 years experience. After obtaining his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, Cam worked for 6 years at the Canadian Sports Institute developing and implementing training programs for Olympic level athletes in the sports of Rowing, Swimming, Triathlon as well as assisting with programming for Rugby Canada. Currently, he owns and operates CrossFit Vic City in Victoria BC, provides online programming for athletes through his website Podium-SC.com and creates content for WODtv.com. He lives with his wife Michelle in Victoria BC.
