Brandon Marshall, began writing in 1999. He grew up moving back and forth from divorced parents, at around 6 years old. Brandon, has had an interesting life, when you put it into the perspective of BOOKS and STORY TELLING! His Mother is Caucasian, while his Father is Mexican. This in itself creates a diverse perspective for someone to grow up in two totally different houses, neighborhoods, schools, AND PEOPLE. Both dysfunctional homes, Brandon began drinking at 13. He later found himself in juvenile hall, county jails, and prisons (including Old Folsom). One day hanging around a friends older brother, Brandon, heard another young man rapping and IN THAT MOMENT, he found ART! He wrote much like he does today, ABOUT REAL LIFE! Writing was his outlet, counselor, best friend, and FIRST FORM OF COMMUNICATION. He would write his troubles and thoughts down in the form of talking to the paper. 25 years later, he's is a successful photographer and ready to take his thoughts now, and share them WITH YOU!
