SPIDER MITE AND OTHER COLLECTED THOUGHTS

If I were to say what defines me now, I would say "a writer." Maybe I have always been a writer, to some degree or another. I started my first journal at sixteen. It was all full of hormones and lust and teenage stuff, but slowly got better over the years. I still have the sixteen year journal as proof that I was once sixteen. My actual profession was that of a hospital pharmacist, believe it or not. Those were good years for the most part, but all the time, I kept writing. It seems that writing chose me and has become something I must do. Now, retired, I find much more time for reading, and its cousin, writing.. I was lucky in marriage. She still puts up with my quirky behavior after sixty-two years of marriage. We are the proud parents of two remarkable children who have very different skills, but adore each other. I'm like the story in my book, Charlie, who says, "Ain't I lucky?" Judson
