Overview

In addition to the well-known World War II there was a secret, unknown war. A war in which humans and their allies opposed supernatural threats. UK and US got their MI-6 and Office of Strategic Services. Nazis got Ahnenerbe and Heilige Lanze, Lance of Longinius. And Soviets got SMERSH assault battalions... and the Special Platoons, the last line of defense against those who lurks in darkness.

Description

In addition to the well-known World War II there was a secret, unknown war. A war in which humans and their allies opposed supernatural threats. UK and US got their MI-6 and Office of Strategic Services. Nazis got Ahnenerbe and Heilige Lanze, Lance of Longinius. And Soviets got SMERSH assault battalions... and the Special Platoons, the last line of defense against those who lurks in darkness. They are few. They are not supposed to be awarded, nor to be mentioned in official papers at all. They are not supposed to be alive - after all, death is not an excuse. Their only allies are volunteers from tribes of White Seidhe, "The Elder People", who lived in the forests of Siberia long before humans. Their enemies are many, not only nazi-controlled undead creatures and demons, but the most dangerous enemy of all - a man itself. Warning- contains obscene language and scenes of violence.

About the author

Born in Siberia. Studied in Omsk, Tyumen, and in a few places.    Since starting with a Siberian punk underground at late 80s, he tried many things. Worked as a security guard, a museum researcher, theater scene worker, radio host, TV news correspondent, a history teacher and so on ... He was a student and a free shot, hitchhiking in Siberia and the surrounding area. Vadim is fan of North and can hardly stand South. Appreciates the black humor in life and literature.
