Spartan, Katie, Max, Tor, and Grimm the dog find themselves in a place known as the Land of the Midnight Sun because in summer, the sun never sets. It is also home to some of the biggest glaciers on earth! They soon learn that a group of men have gone missing while on an expedition. Spartan and the team must search for them. Before long, they are caught up in a treacherous avalanche and trapped on a glacier in the icy sea water! Will they find a way back to the mainland before it's too late?

Greenland's vast landscape is almost completely covered with ice and snow, and it is home to some of the biggest glaciers on earth! With the help of some friendly sled dogs, they arrive in the charming village of Siorapaluk and befriend a young Inuit, Malik, and his family. They soon learn that Malik's father and his group have gone missing while on an expedition. Spartan and the team go in search of the missing explorers, but before long, they are caught up in a treacherous avalanche and trapped on a glacier in the icy sea water! Will they find a way back to the mainland before it's too late?

Born in the Mediterranean and raised in Europe, Nabila Khashoggi is the founder of NABILA K, a lifestyle line of luxury skin care, home ambiance, and personal products. When her eldest son was a toddler, Khashoggi used to entertain him with her own stories about a boy who traveled the world inside a living green egg that just so happened to be an alien from another planet. She turned the tales into a colorful children's graphic novel series, "Spartan and the Green Egg," with the intention of introducing children to environmental and cultural themes around the world. A portion of all proceeds from the "Spartan and the Green Egg" book series, toys, and accessories is donated to The Children for Peace ONLUS. Based in Italy, this non-governmental organization helps young people worldwide living in challenging circumstances to obtain essential needs like food, medical care, and educational opportunities. Khashoggi currently lives in New York and has two sons.
