In English and Spanish there are words that appear to be long-lost siblings, or as I call them, Spanish Twins. They are either identical or very similar from language to language. The great thing about these words is that they already exist in your day-to-day conversations on the jobsite. As you’ll see in this book, these Twins are the building blocks to learning Spanish and becoming a better manager and leader. Spanish Twins will start you on the path to a safer, bilingual jobsite. Before you know it, what was once a problem will be no problema. Remember, this isn’t your classroom-Spanish of the past. This is the Red Angle.

Bradley Hartmann is the founder and El Presidente of Red Angle, a Spanish language training firm focused on the construcción industry. He studied in Guadalajara, México while earning a Spanish degree from the Universidad of Illinois and later his MBA. In addition to his 11 years with a nacional homebuilder, he’s worked in everything from an arquitectura firm to a cabinet distribución center. He currently resides outside of Chicago with his wife and two boys.
