Bio of Erin Cronin-Webb
After successful careers as a Engineering Piping Designer and Teacher, Erin Cronin-Webb turned her artistic focus to fine art and the pastel medium in 1985. A landscape, still life and portrait painter based in Pickens, SC, she finds inspiration for her award-winning paintings wherever she travels and teaches.
Erin is a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), The Pastel Society of America, The Southeastern Pastel Society and The American Portrait Society.
Her work can be seen in The Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville and the Spencer Gallery in Charleston. She has participated in Group Shows at the Pickens County Museum, The Oglethorpe University Museum of Fine Art. Her paintings are included in corporate and private collections in the United States, Europe and Asia
Dedicated to education in the arts, Erin conducts workshops on pastel painting and the business of art.
She is a graduate of The State University of New York, Fredonia, where she majored in Theatre Arts and Education, and has a Masters Degree in Education from The Bank Street College of Education.
While predominately self taught she has attended numerous workshops which always offer new tools to add to her "bag of tricks" and believes, passionately, in constant growth as an artist.
