Overview
Reading through Snapshots At St. Arbuck’s is like drinking a long, cool draught of water on a hot summer’s day. It makes you laugh, cry, feel things you haven’t felt in years and, most of all, it made you hope. It's life...one sip at a time. Stories about common people caught up in common events in the most public of places, a neighborhood coffee shop.
Description
I started to read Snapshots on a plane ride from Amsterdam to Barcelona and couldn’t put it down. When I got to my hotel, I had to finish it. Socrates once said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” Well, R.G. Ryan would make Socrates smile. This little book will make you think about every part of your life: your childhood, important adults (like parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, relationships) your career, your future—you name it, it comes to life under R.G.’s observant eye. And does he express his observations well! I was jealous of his writing as I was reading. I am a raving fan of R.G. and this book. —Ken Blanchard, co-author of The One Minute Manager® and Leading at a Higher Level
