Sirenities

Sirenites is a collection of poetry for everyday people. It speaks to the emotions of all who are moved by the world around them and honors the poet and writer in all of us.

Sirenities is a collection of poetry that honors the Socratic belief that "an unexamined life is not worth living." It captures and memorializes those moments that pass all too quickly. Sirenities marks the emotion of family, friends, love and loss, happiness and sadness, struggle and triumph, and the ebb and flow of the seasons of our lives.

Dr. Brierton holds a Ph.D. in American History and lives in northern Illinois with his wife and two rescue dogs.
