About the author
I am an old-school cook and baker who learned from some great home cooks, my mother, father, aunts, and grandmother. Cooking has always been in my blood and holds a great love for me. The kitchen is my second home; it calms my spirit to recreate timeless meals. With nearly 185 recipes, I have had the pleasure of preparing them throughout my life. All the recipes in this cookbook are simple, timeless everyday dishes, holiday dishes, cookies, and cakes that were created before I was born; my twist is my spin on preparation and flavors.
