Description

Yolanda, Megan, Amber and Molly had the picture perfect start to their high school years. They were each members of the cheerleading squad, honor students, kind, beautiful and well liked. Little did they know, their high school years were going to be anything but picture perfect. Their stories include heartbreak, anxiety, childhood cancer, teenage pregnancy, mental illness and how the cheer team and community came together to support these girls. Their ability to see the positive when it would have been so easy to focus on the negative. These stories show what unconditional love and being on a team really means. Sometimes, life throws curve balls at us, and what might feel like rock bottom is actually just the moment before a miracle happens. And that miracle will show you what you’re made of and teach you so much about yourself and what’s important in life. The girls in this book are living proof of this.
