Shorty and Sammy

This story is focused on a young man named Shorty, who happens to have autism, meeting a wonderful and sweet-natured girl named Sammy, who doesn't have autism. Shorty and Sammy help each other with their problems. While Sammy helps Shorty manage his emotions better, Shorty helps Sammy deal with her tragic background.

Arthur "Shorty" Hopkins is just an average guy, and he happens to have autism. He meets a wonderful, neurotypical young woman named Sammy Johnson. Shorty and Sammy help each other with their problems, and share many adventures together. Through their friendship, they are able to conquer all obstacles that come their way. Tommy has lived his whole life in Westchester County, New York. He is a proud member of the autism community, and has raised money and awareness for organizations that benefit people with autism. He has had many wonderful teachers, friends, and family members that have influenced his writing and illustrating talents. Tommy is passionate about cartoons, movies, art, theater, writing, and drawing. Tommy looks forward to sharing his story with the world.
