Shine Your Light
Your Guide to Creative Inspiration, Inner Wisdom & Happiness
by Doreen Marcial Poreba

Overview

What do you long for and wish to create in your life? Within each of us (yes, everyone!) is a creative wellspring that can be tapped to find answers to life’s challenges, to live more fully, more creatively, and to simply feel more alive—every day.

In “Shine Your Light,” Certified Creativity Coach and Award-winning Photographer Doreen Poreba takes you on a journey to your inner wisdom—a place where you can connect with your very essence—a place of endless possibilities and getting unstuck.

Fifty two themes are presented, which you can explore weekly or at your own pace. Each theme includes:

• Activities and exercises to foster creative thinking and help you face life’s challenges

• Beautiful photos that provide creative inspiration and open your mind to new possibilities

• Affirmations to support your personal growth and development

Whether you are looking for answers to difficult situations, want more creativity in your life, or wish to experience more joy and happiness, “Shine Your Light” is one of those rare, uplifting books that will point you in the right direction and empower you to live a good life!

Description

The purpose of this book is to inspire and guide you to awaken your creative spirit! Throughout the process of reading, reflecting and taking action, you will uncover and discover insights that may encourage you to make changes or move in a certain direction to enrich your life.

You may decide to read this book at your own pace but the intention is for you to read one page per week as you reflect upon the theme and its corresponding photo. Then, throughout the week, with the theme in mind, carry out the suggested affirmations and exercises.

Some of the tasks will ask you to record your thoughts, so you might want to get a notebook, however plain or fancy, and use it solely for this “Shine Your Light” process. You also can develop your own meaning to the photos and formulate your own activities surrounding the theme.

Be creative! It doesn’t matter which week of the year you begin. The day of the week doesn’t matter either. You can do the readings in chronological order or open the book randomly each week. You may find that the selected theme is perfect for you that week. In the weeks ahead, if you randomly select the same theme again, it could mean you need to spend even more time with that theme’s message.

This process will help you to consciously craft your life while experiencing your creativity. Have fun!
